We've owned our CF4000 Hybrid Plush mattresses for about 8 months now. They have never softened up. I have slept on firm mattresses that were softer and more comfortable. Although they feel plush when you first sit on them, as soon as you lay down, it's as if you're lying on board. Absolutely hate them.

We bought this bed and loved the way it slept. We both love a good firm mattress and this one was perfect for us for the first like 6 months. After that, we started noticing that the center was starting to swoop. We've now owned it two years and are getting to replace it. We've had to stuff full on pillows in the center under the mattress to get it to lay evenly. We've rotated it regularly as best as you can. You can't flip it, but we have rotated it. Maybe we just got a bad one out of the bunch as I see other people love it but it's the most uncomfortable mattress we've owned. Save your money, and buy something different.

I wanted a new mattress to replace the 20+yr old one in our guest room. I currently have a Tempur-Pedic in the master bedroom, and made the switch to a form core mattress 9 years ago with a lot of skepticism. After sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic, I was very interested in the new offering from Sealy, the iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm mattress. I have had 6 back surgeries, so a proper mattress is a must! After sleeping on the iComfort mattress, I was pleasantly surprised at how well I felt the next morning! The mattress has a good balance of firmness while still allowing it to adjust to my body. I am also a 'side sleeper' and the iComfort did a good job of supporting me (6' 190lbs). The price point of the iComfort series is also very attractive, especially compared to their competition.
If you are trying to decide between this mattress and a similar competitor's mattress, I would give it some serious consideration...

I love this mattress. I really like a firm mattress that supports my back. Since I began sleeping on this mattress, my back feels a lot better in the mornings. According to the sleep tracker app that I use, my sleep quality is consistently better than it was on my old mattress. I feel more rested in the mornings as well. I love the way I've been feeling since I began using this mattress.

This mattress offers a great deal of support and has provided me with many nights of great sleep! It is classified as a firm mattress but I found it to be just right. It's not too firm nor is it too soft. It looks great and feels great as well. It has a very luxurious feel to it. The memory foam makes it so the mattress conforms to the curves of my body. Sleeping on my side or stomach are very comfortable. The mattress retains its shape after being slept in, which is a great feature. It absorbs movement as well so I could jump on the bed and the other person sleeping in it would not notice. I really like the cooling feature this mattress has, as I've never seen anything like it. It keeps the mattress nice and cool so you don't overheat while sleeping. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking to achieve a great night of sleep.

I am so happy with this mattress its be awhile since I had a great night sleep. This mattress is like sleeping on a cloud so soft but supportive, and it's well made you will have this mattress for a long time. I sweat at night not with this mattress the cooling feature let's you say just right.

Besides the feeling of pulling myself out of quick sand in the morning this bed is pretty comfortable. It keeps me cool at night and the cover is removable for laundry.

Considering I like soft and my significant other likes firm, this is perfect. I thought it would be too hard but the memory foam is wonderful. The first night I woke up pain free. And that's something I havent done in a long time. I like how high this mattress is. It makes getting up out of bed easy.

It's been a few months now since I received this mattress. And the first thing that comes to mind is "don't be afraid of a firm mattress. " After years of sleeping on medium plush mattresses, which I found I was replacing every few years I finally realize why I never slept well. Literally would wake in the mornings with aches and pains in my back and shoulder. I now understand it was more my choice in the firmness of the mattress more than the brand.
Fast forward 2 months on this firm mattress. I am in awe and honestly somewhat irritated with myself for not buying a firm mattress sooner. The aches and pains in my back are gone. My shoulder is finally better. Who knew it was simply the firmness of the support that would make such a difference.
I hope to get the recommended number of years from this mattress. It's extremely well made and sturdy. If anything I will warn it is very heavy and not easily moved. But the stability it gives for both myself and my wife is amazing. She heads to bed earlier than I do as I work nights. I can get into bed and she never wakes up. When rolling over her side doesn't bounce around and I don't wake her up.
It's a very thick mattress and added at least an inch in height to the bed. I have it on a standard boxspring that is supported by a triple rail system.

This is the first time in a while I have awaken without my feet hurting nor my back hurting. I would have never guessed to get firm mattress, but this has been the best decision ever. The support of the mattress is amazing and works for my husband and myself. I've never known the importance of the perfect fit mattress until today. A week of this mattress and it's a difference in sleep patterns. I love it.

This mattress has the perfect balance of support and cushioning and when your body is hot this helps cools your body's so you don't get hot . Very well made and I can tell is going to last me a good time.

This icomfort CF 4000 hybrid firm mattress is amazing. It is very comfortable to lay and sleep on and my favorite part of this is how cool it keeps me during the night. It is a firm mattress which makes it helpful for my back, which also means I can sleep through the night. Plus, It is even comfortable when I sleep in my side and it still keeps my whole body cool. I love the two tone color of this mattress and the design on top of it as well. Overall I am impressed of how great this mattress is and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a wonderful mattress. I don't think I have ever had a mattress that is as nice as this. First of all the quality of it is superb! It is well made, the stitching is perfect and tightly woven. You can tell this was not quickly thrown together with little care. It is a thicker mattress than most may be use too. You don't really even need a box spring and if you do use one, you maybe like me and need to get a low profile box spring. Because a regular box spring makes it just a bit too high. The older you get the more likely you will like a lower bed like me! Even though a higher bed does look nice too!
This mattress is firm but not so firm that you wake up with aching back and neck. It supports and cushions your body so you don't have body aches from laying on a stiff mattress. Im a side sleeper and even sleeping on my side, I have yet to wake up with aches and pains like I normally did. Even the first few times of sleeping on it, I woke up feeling great!
The mattress also has cooling memory foam which pulls the heat away from your body. Im a hot sleeper so this is another plus for me. This is going to be great for hot summer nights that we have here in the South.
I think this is the best mattress I have ever slept on. The quality is top notch. The memory foam not only supports your body but keeps you cool and comfortable. I wake up now feeling great!

iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm Is really the best mattress I have ever owned. It's like the three bears bed. I have tried different mattress ranging from soft to hard. But the iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm ended up being the one I choose. It is made so I can use it by it's self or with box springs. It has just the right thickness. I have really bed sleep infact I never sleep. I can't get comfortable I wake up when my husband moves or gets up. But that has all changed since the first week I slept on this mattress changed everything. I didn't wake up when my husband got up infact I didnt even feel him move all night. Also since using this mattress I noticed I usually get hot and wake up sweated. But I haven't since using this mattress thanks to the carbon fiber memory foam which helps keep your body cool. I love this mattress also cause it's not to firm or soft it is in between. My husband loves a softer mattress and I love a move firm mattress. So this mattress it perfect for both of us. I would highly recommend this mattress.

This is definitely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Every time I lay on it it feels amazing and I don't want to get up. I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. It has this cooling system and being a very warm blooded person it keeps me from sweating all throughout the night. This cooling system is no joke it feels like I'm laying on Ice. I have always owned a king or California king size bed. Mostly because I would like to keep moving to a cold spot on the bed. Not the case anymore! I might not even move the entire night. After years of back ache and tossing and turning this matressed worked mircles on my back. First its super easy too remove and put on my bed. It sit up high and more easier for me too get out of the bed. This mattress is so so plush, soft, comforms too my body and really supports it, it elevates my head and back evenly at night, easier for me to turn at night and it keeps my back firm and even.Its also keeps my body heat temperature even and body warm on very cold nights. I'm so happy and in love with this mattress! It as really impressed me. My new icomfort gives me the support I really need; for the first time in years I'm getting quality and amazing sleep. I have never known what it feels like to wake up not feeling tired at all untill I placed my hands on this mattress. It is neither too soft or too firm it blends into your body and gives you that so much needed it comfort. You actually don't feel when someone gets on or off the bed and it has that amazing plush support. It has a beautiful pattern that it does not need sheets been put on but you can if you want. Another amazing feature is the outter material it can be unzipped, taken off and wash this definitely adds another level of convenience. Overall, this is a great to go with mattress it will give you everything you are looking for in a mattress. I love my mattress, I highly recommend it to anyone!!

The iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm is a wonderful mattress, It has changed my sleeping pattern and I am grateful. I am now able to sleep through the night without any tossing or turning. So I was a little hesitant about this mattress because I've never been a big fan of memory foam. WOW, did the iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm change my mind. I used to wake up at least 4 times a night, since we've had this mattress I haven't woken up in the middle of the night once! My husband is a very loud snorer and I used to have to tell him several times to "roll over, you're snoring." I don't know if I'm just sleeping better or if the mattress is helping his snoring but either way I'm a very happy camper. I would recommend this mattress to anyone and everyone.

I suffer from low back and shoulder pain and have tried several different types of mattress--standard innerspring, pillowtop innerspring, memory foam, etc and continued to have issues. My physical therapist suggested a hybrid innerspring/memory foam withOUT a cushy (ie, unsupportive) topper, so I selected this mattress. It is VERY firm and supportive--it took me a few days to get used to how firm it is, but I have not had any back pain recently and my shoulder pain is much better when I wake up. I have slept very well on this so far. Also, it does a great job of not transferring motion--when I moved on my old mattress, It would cause the bed to creak, to the point that I was looking at getting a new bed as well as mattress. However, since switching mattresses, I have not had the creaking issue, and I believe it is because the memory foam absorbs movement well, compared to my old innerspring/pillowtop. Standard queen sheets fit well on this mattress, which is another plus!

The Serta iComfort CF4000 Hybrid Firm mattress is extraordinarily comfortable! It is perfect and luxurious for any kind of sleep style (side, front and back). It is Not so firm that it comprises comfort as it feels like a great memory foam! It is on a frame in my house but it does not require one as it's twice as thick as my previous queen mattress and actually 4" wider. It requires deep pocket mattress topper and sheets FYI. I love this Serta!

This bed is so wonderfully comfortable. It offers a great deal of support and doesn't feel stuffy or overheated. Seriously at one point the whole family and all the pets climbed and and it was still really really comfortable.
